Sometimes it's calming to just be still, in the moment, to feel grounded and deeply connect with our baby in the present moment. Feeling at peace and full of serenity.
By placing holding your baby close to you, your baby’s ear to your heart, you can feel that connection.
You can do this when your baby is sleeping or having a restful moment.
Take 3 deep breaths in through your nose, out through your mouth.
In for a count of 4 out for a count of 7
Breathe in positivity, the things that bring you joy-it doesn't matter what it is.
Breathing out any worries, or anxiety.
Channel your love and positive energy through you, to your baby.
Share those vibes with your baby and feel them come straight back to you.
It’s ok to hold your baby close, to show them love and affection. If it feels a little uncomfortable, don’t worry. We are all on different parenting journeys. Take small steps to build that connection up and it’ll become second nature.
